Official Biography

Michael Thiessmeier is an AI and cybersecurity executive, founder, board advisor, and cyber diplomacy practitioner. He works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cyber threat intelligence, and international cooperation.

He is the Founder and President of Cyber Eagle and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the U.S. National AI and Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Analysis Organization. Through this work, he focuses on AI-enabled cyber defense, public-private information sharing, critical infrastructure resilience, and the emerging security implications of artificial intelligence.

Mr. Thiessmeier has more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity leadership, technology strategy, cyber risk management, and executive advisory work. His background includes service as a Chief Information Security Officer, senior technology executive, board advisor, speaker, and author on issues related to AI, cybersecurity, national resilience, and digital trust.

His work spans industry, government, academia, and international forums, with a particular focus on helping institutions understand and respond to cyber risk in an era where artificial intelligence is changing the speed, scale, and character of both offense and defense.
